Voting Membership Levels

Platinum Club Member $500.00 Annual Dues
Platinum members provide financial support to Farm Bureau at the highest level.  Platinum members are are organized for agricultural purposes; or either own land enrolled in Massachusetts General Laws Chapters 61, 61A and 61B and are actively engaged in agriculture, aquaculture, stables, landscaping, floriculture or forestry, including lessors and landlords who receive rent, either in kind or cash, or all or part of the product raised or grown on the leased or rented premises, or are individuals who are owners, members, beneficiaries, or current or surviving spouses of such owners of such land. Recognition is given to Platinum members in state annual meeting program. The farmer or the representative of the farm has voting privileges with the organization.

Gold Club Member $350.00 Annual Dues
A member actively engaged in the business of agricultural production or service as described in the county and/or state-by-laws. Gold members are are organized for agricultural purposes; or either own land enrolled in Massachusetts General Laws Chapters 61, 61A and 61B and are actively engaged in agriculture, aquaculture, stables, landscaping, floriculture or forestry, including lessors and landlords who receive rent, either in kind or cash, or all or part of the product raised or grown on the leased or rented premises, or are individuals who are owners, members, beneficiaries, or current or surviving spouses of such owners of such land. Recognition is given to Gold members in state annual meeting program. The farmer or the representative of the farm has voting privileges with the organization.

Regular Farmer Member $225.00 Annual Dues
Regular members are are organized for agricultural purposes; or either own land enrolled in Massachusetts General Laws Chapters 61, 61A and 61B and are actively engaged in agriculture, aquaculture, stables, landscaping, floriculture or forestry, including lessors and landlords who receive rent, either in kind or cash, or all or part of the product raised or grown on the leased or rented premises, or are individuals who are owners, members, beneficiaries, or current or surviving spouses of such owners of such land.  The farmer or the representative of the farm has voting privileges with the organization.

Introductory Regular Level* – $99.00

Non-Voting Members

Business Allied to Agriculture $225.00 Annual Dues
A member that offers products or services that are essential to agriculture.

Associate Membership $70.00 Annual Dues
A non-farmer member that do not receive agricultural income, who joins to support agriculture an associate may participate in the same programs as a full or part-time member (with exception of voting privileges).  Associate member are persons, partnerships, associations, unincorporated associations or corporations interested in agriculture who or which do not otherwise qualify as “Regular Members.”

Friends of Local Farmers $25.00 Annual Dues
Friend of Local Farmer membership is a personal, non-business membership for individuals not primarily involved in agriculture, but who are interested in supporting local farmers and local agriculture may become members upon full payment of the annual dues, except shall not be entitled to hold office or vote in the meetings and proceedings of the Farm Bureau. *This membership is totally electronic.

Student Membership (for members 16-25) $25.00 Annual Dues
Full time students between the ages of sixteen (16) and twenty-five (25) attending educational institutions and who are interested in agriculture maybecome “Student Members” upon full payment of the annual dues established for them. Student Members shall be entitled to be recognized for debate and information, but shall not be entitled to vote. Student Members shall be eligible for participation in all Massachusetts Young Farmers & Ranchers Committee activities, and to participate in the Young Farmers & Ranchers Committee.
