Notice is hereby given that the Department of Agricultural Resources, under its authority pursuant to M.G.L. c. 184, §§ 31 through 33; M.G.L. c. 20, §§ 23 through 26; M.G.L. c. 61A, §§ 1 through 5 and M.G.L. c. 40A, § 3 and in accordance with M.G.L. c. 30A, will hold two public hearings on amendment of 330 CMR 22.00. The Department is proposing changes to address the transfer and sale of a parcel protected by an APR. 

The revised regulations will provide APR landowners with a clearer understanding of their requirements at the time of transfer, the Department’s process for review and their rights to withdraw and appeal the Department’s decision.

Two public hearings are to be conducted on the following dates at the following locations to receive comments on the proposed regulations:
